“The Cameroon Story” was created by two young filmmakers and multimedia producers called Manuel and Marius. This Spring we’ll take a journey to Cameroon, a country in the middle-east of Africa, not to say in the middle of nowhere. Equiped with cameras, microphones, paper and one big goal: finding some interesting stories. We’ll spend one month in the kingdom of Bafut in the north-west of Cameroon to get in touch with people, country and of course the culture.
The aim of the project is to produce a short 10 to 15 minute documentary. In a second step we’ll create a non linear told web documentary with lots of background informations and extra material. The web documentary will be published in summer 2015 on the internet.
But we won’t let you wait till next summer. Join our adventures in Cameroon on this page and get daily updated about our growing project. We’ll publish daily shortstories about interesting people, small anecdotes or just someone who has particularly touched us. We call them simply “Story of the Day”. And if that’s not enough for you, you’ll always find more photos or videos on our social media channels like instagram, twitter or facebook.
